Job summary

Townsend Building Supply (A division of Carter Lumber) is hiring CDL Delivery Specialists to transport orders to local customer jobsites with a safe, timely approach using our fleet. You will ensure daily schedules are met and provide friendly, professional service.

On-site duties include unloading with dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and placing materials at the exact location requested by customers. We value teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our fleet.
• Unload using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place materials at the required location.
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met and provide friendly, professional customer service.
