Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe, timely manner with our fleet. You will ensure daily delivery schedules are met and provide friendly, professional service on every site.

On-site unloading uses a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place materials exactly where customers need them. A current CDL, clean driving record, and prior delivery experience are required.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Unload on site using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place materials at the requested location.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
