Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites using our company fleet. You will ensure daily delivery schedules are met while delivering friendly, professional service.

On-site unloading may involve a dump bed or forklift to position materials precisely at the customer’s site. Eligible candidates have delivery experience, a valid CDL, and knowledge of building materials.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Unload on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place materials where needed.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service on delivery routes.
