Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe, timely manner using our company fleet. You will unload materials on-site with a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and ensure materials are placed where customers need them.

Maintain daily delivery schedules, provide friendly customer service, and operate with a commitment to safety. Previous building-material delivery experience and a valid CDL are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Current CDL license.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer job sites in a safe and timely manner using the company fleet.
• Unload at job sites using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift to place materials as needed.
• Maintain daily delivery schedules and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Comply with all safety and company policies.
