Job summary

Carter Lumber Company seeks a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local jobsites with a focus on safety and timeliness.

You will unload using a dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and ensure materials are positioned at the customer's site as requested. A CDL and clean driving record are required; familiarity with building materials is a plus. This is a full-time role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites safely and on time.
• Maintain daily delivery schedules and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Unload materials on site using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift and place materials as required.
