Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Merchandiser - Small Store Trainee CDL to deliver and rotate stock, merchandise shelves, and support store promotions. You will work with the Sales Supervisor, build relationships with customers and ensure company standards are met across assigned outlets.

The role requires a Class A CDL, ability to read and write English, and the stamina to lift up to 50 lbs. A comprehensive benefits package and CDL tuition program are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years
• Class A CDL required and maintained per UNITED policy
• Must meet DOT physical requirements
• PPE as required and safety policies followed
• Regular attendance is essential
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Maintain neat professional appearance per guidelines
• Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to present information in one-on-one/small group settings
• Proficient in basic math operations
• Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Transport and unload products to retail outlets
• Merchandise products inside outlets to company standards
• Collaborate with Sales Supervisor to execute plans and build customer relationships
• Provide feedback on competitive threats and opportunities
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays
• Communicate store-level issues to management
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of coolers, racks, and shelves
• Train and coach delivery merchandiser trainees
• Build relationships with customer base across assigned accounts
