Commonwealth Building Materials, Inc. - Glen Allen is hiring a Delivery Driver-CDL-Hourly to operate a commercial vehicle safely and deliver building materials to customers. You’ll load/unload, provide excellent customer service, and follow DOT regulations in a team environment.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate record-keeping, and the ability to lift heavy loads while delivering on schedule in a dynamic work setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Minimum Class B License; Class A strongly preferred.
• Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects; ensure safe operation.
• Safely load materials and unload at job sites; deliver per directions.
• Maintain records as required by state and federal regulations.
• Report accidents; uphold professional customer service and teamwork.
