Job summary

Ashby Lumber is seeking a delivery driver to provide timely and safe material deliveries and pickups. You will coordinate with Dispatch, maintain professional customer interactions, and ensure accurate loading and unloading of products.

The role requires a valid CDL with endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Overtime, weekend shifts, and safety compliance are involved.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) based on state location
• Air Brake endorsement and HazMat endorsement as required
• OSHA-approved Powered Industrial Truck certification (company training provided)
• Clean driving record and valid medical card where required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on all deliveries
• Operate and drive a large truck safely for extended periods
• Assist with loading/unloading of products and ensure proper loading
• Maintain safe driving and adhere to Ashby Lumber policies
• Communicate with Dispatch about delivery status and issues
• Work overtime as needed; weekend shifts on a rotating basis
