Job summary

Home Improvement Outlet is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to serve as the link between our lumberyard and the local community, delivering building materials to residential sites with a focus on safety and customer service. You will play a key role in supporting local home improvement projects and ensuring on-time deliveries.

The position emphasizes operating company vehicles under DOT regulations, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining accurate delivery records while providing a courteous

Qualifications

• CDL Class A is required and must be current.
• Ability to perform physical labor lifting 50–75 lbs.
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and safe driving history.
• Strong communication with customers and teams.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lumber, flooring, and appliances to residential job sites.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with DOT and safety rules.
• Load and unload materials using proper equipment and safe handling techniques.
• Verify order accuracy before departure to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and vehicle inspection records.
• Provide professional service as the primary contact for contractors and homeowners.
• Coordinate with warehouse and yard teams to stage inventory and optimize schedules.
