Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to deliver and swap waste containers along designated routes. You will inspect sites for safety, operate access points, and perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.

Expect routine interactions with customers, adherence to DOT rules, and safe operation in varied weather conditions while maintaining logs and reporting issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Able to meet safety-sensitive criteria.

Responsibilities

• Drive container delivery truck along designated routes to service containers.
• Inspect containers and sites for safety per standards and service agreements.
• Open container enclosures or gates to access containers.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
