Job summary

Smith Ready Mix, Inc. in Bristol, IN, seeks a Concrete Mixer Driver to join our Elkhart/St. Joseph County operations. This full-time role requires a Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

The driver will safely operate vehicles, load/deliver concrete, perform inspections, and maintain equipment while coordinating with dispatch and management to ensure timely deliveries and quality service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to pass a DOT medical examination.
• Clean driving record meeting insurability standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles in accordance with safety regulations.
• Load and deliver perishable products while ensuring quality and service.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and assist with plant tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant management to streamline operations.
