Job summary

AKHIRE, INC is seeking a CDL Class B Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate in Fairbanks, AK. The role includes delivering products to customer locations on an assigned route, loading/unloading, and maintaining delivery paperwork.

Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a pay rate of $27–$30 per hour. Responsibilities include assisting in the warehouse as needed, performing vehicle checks, and ensuring accuracy of freight received and delivered.

Qualifications

Description: CDL Class \"B\" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Pay: $27- $30 Per Hour

Schedule: (Full-Time) Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities for CDL Class \"B\" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

• Delivery of products on assigned routes


• Loading and Unloading.


• Confirm that the correct products are loaded and delivered to the appropriate customer locations.


• Maintain delivery paperwork and other records associated with assigned routes.


• Complete routine vehicle checks before and after driving and communicate any equipment or vehicle concerns.


• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups.


• Assist in the warehouse when delivery responsibilities are completed or additional operational support is needed.


• Receive incoming freight and assist with unloading shipments arriving by semi-truck.


• Check incoming products and freight against receiving information and report discrepancies when identified.


• Move and organize freight, cylinders, and other materials within designated warehouse and loading areas.


• Keep the delivery vehicle and work areas organized and ready for daily operations.


• Assist the team with additional delivery, warehouse, and material-handling responsibilities as needed.


• Commercial driving experience preferred.


• Experience transporting hazardous materials is strongly preferred.
