Job summary

AKHIRE, INC in Anchorage, AK is seeking a full-time Warehouse Handler/Driver to support warehouse and delivery operations. The role includes moving parts and materials, loading/unloading, and assisting customers in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts are Monday–Friday 6AM–3PM with pay of $17.00–$21.00 per hour DOE. A valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and passing a drug screen with a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Able to operate warehouse equipment and perform physical tasks (grasping, reaching, bending).
• Drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Drive parts and materials from warehouse to required locations.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Mark incoming freight appropriately.
• Assist customers as necessary.
• Follow all safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Expedite materials between multiple locations.

• Expedite materials between numerous locations.

Requirements

Must have a current drivers license.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to operate all equipment in a warehouse, which may include grasping, climbing, bending, handling, reaching, hand dexterity, feeling/touching and repetitive motions of the hands and feet.

Drug screen and background check required.
