Job summary

AKHIRE in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to offload products with a forklift and organize the warehouse for outbound loading. You will load and unload vehicles, mark freight, move freight around the yard, complete paperwork, and assist customers while following safety procedures.

This full-time role requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds. Shift: M-F 7:00am - 3:30PM; some shifts may be available; pay is $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Must be able to push or pull heavy loads up to 200 pounds.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Drug Screen and Background Check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles such as trucks, vans, flat beds trucks, box trucks or tractor-trailers.
• Mark incoming freight appropriately.

Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Location - Anchorage, AK

Summary: Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate position spends most of the day using a forklift to offload product, and organize within the warehouse to be loading on the outgoing trucks.

Requirements

Certificates/Licenses:

• Forklift Certification preferred but not required

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Must be able to push or pull heavy loads (up to 200 pounds)
