Job summary

AKHIRE is seeking a CDL Class B Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to operate routes in Fairbanks and provide warehouse support. The role includes safe driving, loading/unloading, and accurate record-keeping.

Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with hourly pay of $27–$30. Hazmat experience is strongly preferred and a full benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL or higher required.
• Drug screening and background check required.
• Must meet applicable DOT requirements for commercial driving.
• Able to perform physically demanding work including lifting and loading cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of products on assigned routes.
• Loading and unloading.
• Ensure correct products are loaded and delivered to customers.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and records for routes.
• Perform routine vehicle checks before/after driving and report issues.
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups.
• Assist in warehouse when deliveries are completed or for additional support.
• Receive incoming freight and assist with unloading shipments arriving by semi-truck.
• Check incoming products against receiving information and report discrepancies.

Description: CDL Class \"B\" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Pay: $27- $30 Per Hour

Schedule: (Full-Time) Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities for CDL Class \"B\" Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

• Delivery of products on assigned routes


• Loading and Unloading.


• Confirm that the correct products are loaded and delivered to the appropriate customer locations.


• Maintain delivery paperwork and other records associated with assigned routes.


• Complete routine vehicle checks before and after driving and communicate any equipment or vehicle concerns.


• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and pickups.


• Assist in the warehouse when delivery responsibilities are completed or additional operational support is needed.


• Receive incoming freight and assist with unloading shipments arriving by semi-truck.


• Check incoming products and freight against receiving information and report discrepancies when identified.


• Move and organize freight, cylinders, and other materials within designated warehouse and loading areas.


• Keep the delivery vehicle and work areas organized and ready for daily operations.


• Assist the team with additional delivery, warehouse, and material-handling responsibilities as needed.


• Commercial driving experience preferred.


• Experience transporting hazardous materials is strongly preferred.
