Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a qualified delivery driver to transport and deliver building materials to customer sites. You will operate delivery vehicles over 26,000 pounds, load/unload, and ensure on-time, undamaged deliveries while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a Class B CDL, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read and speak English. You will log deliveries, assist customers, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 21+ years old, valid driver's license and a Class B CDL.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Able to read and speak English.
• Less than 5 moving violations in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicles (>26,000 pounds) and deliver materials to customer sites.
• Load/unload materials; secure goods and assist customers as needed.
• Verify orders, maintain logs (mileage, weights, locations) and ensure order accuracy.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and handle concerns.
• Perform routine safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
