Job summary

Rahns Trucking, Inc., a partner of the H&K Group, is currently seeking experienced Class B CDL drivers to join our Chalfont Plant team. Reliable and attentive operation of concrete mixer trucks and daily truck logs are essential responsibilities.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a Class B CDL, a good driving record, and 1 year of tri-axle driver experience. Night and weekend work may be required; strong communication and physical fitness are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Class B CDL required.
• Good driving record.
• 1 year of tri-axle driver experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work nights and weekends; schedule based on business needs.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to fit test and use PPE as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting).

Responsibilities

• Performs all work according to FMCSA and H&K Safety policies.
• Drives truck to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water and starts mixer.
• Drives truck to location for unloading.
• Releases concrete down truck chute into wheelbarrow or other container.
• Cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening.
• Sprays surfaces of truck with protective compound.
• Assembles cement chute.
• Performs daily pre and post trip of vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
