Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Driver II with a Class A CDL to operate tractor trailers and provide safe, efficient transportation for guests. The role requires delivering excellent customer service, performing vehicle inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe vehicle environment.

You will work with the transportation office, potentially assist with clerical tasks, and may be asked to lift luggage and handle equipment. A valid CDL-A and DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1 year+ professional driving experience; mechanical experience preferred; customer service experience beneficial.
• Must communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record; 5 years of prior safe driving is ideal.
• Must pass DOT physical examination and obtain a medical card.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test; participate in random testing.
• Defensive Driving Course must be completed prior to driving a company vehicle.
• Endorsements such as passenger or airbrake may be required to drive all vehicles.
• Experience driving in all weather; tire chain installation experience preferred.
• Vehicle equipment includes PPE; be prepared for manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete a daily vehicle inspection before driving and after finishing the route.
• Maintain a pleasant, clean atmosphere inside and outside the vehicle.
• Apply safety equipment and wear seat belts at all times.
• Drive defensively, safely, and cautiously; ensure timely service.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent Aramark positively to guests.
• Pickup and drop off guests at designated locations; act as a concierge for guests.
• May assist with clerical tasks and dispatch in the Transportation Office.
• May transport equipment to/from the warehouse and perform maintenance checks as needed.
