Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Driver II in the United States to operate buses, shuttles, or light trucks. CDL Class B or C may be required. Expect daily vehicle inspections, customer service excellence, and safe driving practices.

Typical duties include transporting guests, assisting with luggage, and maintaining accurate vehicle logs. The role may involve warehouse driving or clerical tasks and requires adherence to safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 years or older.
• 1 year+ professional driving experience and customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (Class B or C) with a clean driving record (5 years).
• Must pass a DOT physical examination and obtain a medical card.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and participate in random testing.
• Defensive Driving Course before driving a company vehicle.
• Endorsements for passenger or airbrake may be required to drive all vehicles.
• Experience driving in all weather conditions and knowledge of vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete a daily vehicle inspection form prior to driving and after completing routes.
• Maintain a pleasant, clean atmosphere inside and outside the vehicle.
• Wear safety equipment and always use seat belts while driving.
• Transport passengers or goods in vehicles under 26,000 lb (GVW).
• Drive defensively and provide excellent guest service.
• Assist with luggage and act as a concierge for guests.
• Keep logs accurate and coordinate with Transportation Office dispatcher.
• May perform warehouse driving or clerical tasks as needed.
• Report maintenance issues promptly and perform basic vehicle checks.
