Job summary

KeHE Distributors, LLC, an employee-owned distributor of natural and organic products, is seeking a Delivery Class A CDL Driver to join our team. You will operate a Class A vehicle, execute routes, and deliver to DSD locations, following safety and DOT standards.

We value service to others and offer growth opportunities. Candidates must have a clean driving record, DOT knowledge, and be flexible for shifts including weekends. Layovers may be required on some Utah routes.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• 12 months of verifiable driving experience (or less than 12 months with no tickets/accidents).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading product.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A vehicle delivering to Direct Store Delivery (DSD) locations within the assigned regional area.
• Execute daily routes and deliveries efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of product to customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload product at delivery sites with accurate handling.
• Maintain logs and vehicle service records in Samsara per DOT and company policy.
• Foster positive relationships with store personnel and uphold KeHE values.
• Adhere to safety standards and adapt to changing schedules, routes, and assignments.
• Act as an ambassador for KeHE’s values and participate in community initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Saturday Dispatch running to Utah with 34 hour resets at home.

Essential Functions

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle, complying with all federal, state, and local regulations while delivering product to Direct Store Delivery (DSD) locations within the assigned regional area.
• Execute daily assigned routes and deliveries efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of product to customers.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance or operational issues to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Load and unload product at delivery sites, ensuring accuracy in all deliveries and proper handling of goods.
• Maintain accurate logs and vehicle service records in Samsara in compliance with company policy and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Foster positive relationships with store personnel at delivery locations, demonstrating a commitment to customer service and KeHE's values of putting people first.
• Adhere to all company safety standards and follow established protocols for maintaining a safe driving record.
• Adapt to changing schedules, routes, and assignments in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
• Act as an ambassador for KeHE’s values by participating in community initiatives and contributing to a culture of respect, inclusivity, and service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• 12 months of verifiable driving experience, or less than 12 months with a perfectly clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) (no tickets or accidents).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading product.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with a commitment to representing KeHE's values of service to others.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly, with a sense of ownership and accountability for the role.
