Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Support CDL Driver to fill in on open routes and support daily delivery operations. The role requires flexibility to cover varying routes and schedules while upholding safety, service, and delivery standards.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for CDL Class-A drivers, with a starting wage of $24.00–$28.00 per hour based on experience. Expect 10-15 hours overtime weekly, with overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A driver's license or successful completion of company paid CDL training.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Cover open, vacant or unassigned routes as needed.
• Assist drivers with loading, sorting freight, and morning duties.
• Deliver and pick up freight from customers and shippers in a timely manner.
• Inspect vehicle and report any mechanical problems.
• Verify pickups on shipping papers and communicate discrepancies.
