Job summary

QXO is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A) to safely transport building materials to customer locations and job sites. The role includes loading, unloading, securing loads, and ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance. Provides safety-focused, customer-oriented service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is 21+ and able to lift heavy items, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and operate with independence or as part of a team. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety-focused, customer-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, may require lifting, carrying, or moving products.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site for safety during loading/unloading.
• Maintain communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.
