Job summary

WM is seeking a Class A CDL driver to safely operate tractor-trailers on designated routes in Texas. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, communicate with Operations Manager and Dispatch, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle.

The role requires at least 1 year of CDL driving, ability to read and communicate in English, and compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies. We offer comprehensive benefits and a stable work environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of driving a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete records or reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements and company expectations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document issues.
• Report unsafe situations or service needs to Operations Manager and Dispatch.
• Work with Operations Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiencies.
• Notify Operations Manager of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Communicate customer requests or service changes to Operations Manager and Dispatch.
• Ensure containers are dumped and the customer site is left clean and safe.
• Follow route assignments and complete end-of-day documentation.
