Roadway Moving Inc. is seeking CDL Class A/Class B drivers for local to long-haul routes across multiple markets. Expect no-touch freight with dedicated lanes and warehouse-to-warehouse movements.

Open routes include Chicago to Bronx and West Coast regional lanes. Requirements include a valid CDL, 1+ year verifiable driving experience, clean MVR, and DOT medical card. A referral bonus is offered for qualified referrals.

Formación

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the class you hold.
• Clean MVR and a safe driving record.
• Current DOT medical card and ability to meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including DOT drug and alcohol testing and a Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.
• Air brake endorsement (Doubles/Triples/Tankers/HazMat endorsements are a plus but not required).
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• OTR, regional or long-distance experience preferred for Class A routes.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a Class A tractor trailer or a Class B straight truck between Roadway warehouse and terminal locations.
• Haul no touch freight on assigned dedicated and regional lanes.
• Complete assigned routes safely and on schedule.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete trip logs, ELD entries, bills of lading and required DOT documentation.
• Stay in contact with dispatch on route progress, delays and mechanical issues.
• Follow FMCSA hours of service rules, DOT regulations and Roadway safety procedures.
• Maintain safe, courteous and professional driving practices at all times.
