Roadway Moving is hiring CDL Class A and Class B truck drivers for local to long-haul routes from warehouse to warehouse. Routes include West Coast regional and Chicago to Bronx lanes with no residential deliveries and no customer interaction.

Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 annually with pay reflecting route, license class, experience and driving record. A $2,500 referral bonus is offered for qualified referrals.

Formación

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
• Clean MVR and a safe driving record
• Current DOT medical card and ability to meet all DOT/FMC regulations
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening including DOT drug/alcohol testing and Clearinghouse
• Air brake endorsement; doubles/triples/tankers/HazMat endorsements are a plus but not required
• Strong communication and time management skills
• OTR/regional/long-distance experience preferred for Class A routes

Responsabilidades

• Operate a Class A tractor trailer or a Class B straight truck between Roadway warehouse and terminal locations
• Haul no touch freight on assigned dedicated and regional lanes
• Complete assigned routes safely and on schedule
• Perform DOT pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections
• Complete trip logs, ELD entries, bills of lading and required DOT documentation
• Stay in contact with dispatch on route progress, delays and mechanical issues
• Follow FMCSA hours of service rules, DOT regulations and Roadway safety procedures
• Maintain safe, courteous and professional driving practices at all times
