Job summary

Roadway Moving Inc. is seeking CDL Class A and Class B truck drivers for local, dedicated long haul and West Coast regional work. All routes run warehouse to warehouse with no touch freight and no residential deliveries or customer interaction.

Expect competitive compensation in the range of six figures for experienced drivers, with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency and compliance. A referral program offers a $2,500 bonus.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required and valid.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR and a safe driving record.
• Current DOT medical card and ability to meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening incl DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Air brake endorsement is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• OTR/regional/long-distance experience preferred for Class A routes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor trailer or Class B straight truck between Roadway warehouse and terminal locations.
• Haul no touch freight on assigned dedicated and regional lanes.
• Complete assigned routes safely and on schedule.
• Perform DOT pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete trip logs, ELD entries, bills of lading and DOT documentation.
• Stay in contact with dispatch on route progress, delays and mechanical issues.
• Follow FMCSA hours of service rules, DOT regulations and Roadway safety procedures.
• Maintain safe, courteous and professional driving practices at all times.
