Job summary

Roadway Moving is hiring CDL Class A/B truck drivers for local to long-haul routes. Positions involve no-touch freight, dedicated and regional lanes, and Warehouse-to-warehouse operation with strict FMCSA compliance.

Duties include vehicle inspections, DOT documentation, and coordinating with dispatch to ensure on-time deliveries. Opportunities span West Coast regional trips with competitive compensation. Excellent safety record required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience in the class you hold.
• Clean MVR and a safe driving record.
• Current DOT medical card and the ability to meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including DOT drug and alcohol testing and a Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse query.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor trailer or a Class B straight truck between Roadway warehouse and terminal locations.
• Haul no touch freight on assigned dedicated and regional lanes.
• Complete assigned routes safely and on schedule.
• Perform DOT pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete trip logs, ELD entries, bills of lading and required DOT documentation.
• Stay in contact with dispatch on route progress, delays and mechanical issues.
• Follow FMCSA hours of service rules, DOT regulations and Roadway safety procedures.
• Maintain safe, courteous and professional driving practices at all times.
