CJ Logistics America is hiring a Local CDL-A Driver in McDonough, GA. You will work with the dispatch team on local routes, delivering goods safely and on time with a strong customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 24 months of full-time Class A tractor/trailer experience in the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No serious violations or convictions in the last 3 years; no DOT record violations in 5 years.
• Must satisfy FMCSA/DOT drug and alcohol requirements and pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Load and arrange freight for efficient delivery.
• Operate the company-assigned Class A truck safely and responsibly.
• Adapt to local travel conditions (traffic, road closures, etc.).
• Answer customer questions with professionalism and courtesy.
• Report customer concerns or delivery issues to management.
• Collaborate with dispatch to plan routes and track deliveries.
• Keep the assigned truck clean and in working condition.

Local CDL-A Driver, McDonough, GA

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00pm Start Time
• Flexibility to work an occasional weekend day
• Pay: Starting at $25.55 per hour / OT after 50 hours
• $1300 quarterly safety bonuses

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Load and arrange freight for efficient delivery order
• Operate company-assigned Class A truck safely and responsibly

What You Bring:

• A Valid Class A CDL Drivers License Required.
• A Minimum of 24 months of experience working in a full-time Class A Tractor/Trailer driving position in the previous 3 years
• No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations or convictions while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No clearinghouse violations in the last 5 years.Knowledge of all applicable DOT regulations and Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
• Ability to satisfy FMCSA/DOT requirements including a clean drug and alcohol screen and a passing DOT physical.
• High level of reliability and commitment to the role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate interactions professionally.
• Must be able to read and speak the English Language sufficiently to converse with the general public and respond to official inquiries to drivers.
• Must meet minimum age and insurability requirements (21 years of age or older) in accordance with company insurance policies and/or federal regulations governing commercial vehicle operation.
