Job summary

CJ Logistics in Mankato, MN is seeking a Local CDL-A Driver to join our team. You’ll operate a company‑assigned Class A tractor/trailer on local routes, work with dispatch, and deliver goods safely and on time.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 1:00am–5:30am with occasional weekends. Compensation includes starting pay of 0.642 CPM per mile, stop pay, a $5,000 sign‑on bonus and $1,300 quarterly safety bonuses, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• A Valid Class A CDL Drivers License Required.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer position in the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years; no serious violations in the last 3 years.
• No DOT clearinghouse violations in the last 5 years.
• Ability to meet FMCSA/DOT requirements including a clean drug/alcohol screen and DOT physical.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate company-assigned Class A truck safely and responsibly
• Adjust to local travel conditions (traffic, road closures, etc.)
• Answer customer questions with professionalism and courtesy
• Communicate any customer concerns or delivery issues to management
• Collaborate with dispatch to plan routes and track deliveries
• Maintain your assigned truck in clean and working condition

What You Bring:

• A Valid Class A CDL Drivers License Required.
• A Minimum of 24 months of experience working in a full-time Class A Tractor/Trailer driving position in the previous 3 years
• No more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations or convictions while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No clearinghouse violations in the last 5 years.
• Knowledge of all applicable DOT regulations and Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
• Ability to satisfy FMCSA/DOT requirements including a clean drug and alcohol screen and a passing DOT physical.
• High level of reliability and commitment to the role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to navigate interactions professionally.
• Must be able to read and speak the English Language sufficiently to converse with the general public and respond to official inquiries to drivers.
• Must meet minimum age and insurability requirements (21 years of age or older) in accordance with company insurance policies and/or federal regulations governing commercial vehicle operation.
