Job summary

Veritiv Corporation in Richmond, VA is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. You will transport and deliver stock to customers and sites, following routes and schedules to ensure on-time, safe deliveries.

The role involves inspecting trucks, maintaining delivery records, and supporting warehouse tasks as needed. A clean driving record, DOT compliance, and a valid Class A CDL are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and be at least 21 years old.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred and must be obtained within six weeks of hire.
• Able to operate material handling equipment and perform liftgate tasks.
• Experience with DOT regulations and maintain a safe driving record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and supplies on schedule.
• Visually inspect loaded trucks to ensure orders are shipped correctly and report defects.
• Provide professional interactions with customers for a positive experience.
• File and retrieve delivery records and monitor inventory levels.
• Follow safety instructions to protect environment and colleagues.
• Operate equipment and assist with warehouse duties as needed.
