Job summary

Veritiv seeks a CDL Class A Truck Driver to deliver and pick up stock safely and on time, partnering with a team of professionals to serve clients. The role includes inspecting loads, maintaining records, and supporting warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, with DOT compliance and a Hazmat endorsement preferred within six weeks. Home daily schedule and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred; required within six weeks of hire.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• DOT regulations must be followed with a safe driving record.
• 12+ months driving experience in a commercial environment.
• Ability to operate lift gates and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods to customers on schedule and within procedures.
• Inspect trucks for proper loading and report defects.
• Interact professionally with customers to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain delivery records and monitor inventory availability.
• Follow safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Assist warehouse with loading/unloading when needed.
• Operate loading equipment and adapt to varying duties.
• Address issues with facilities and customers as they arise.
