Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our route team. The driver will transport goods to and from sites, ensuring safe handling and on-time delivery, while maintaining professional customer interactions.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, managing delivery documents, and assisting with warehouse tasks as needed. Position requires early start times and adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred and must be obtained within six weeks of hire.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and utilize a lift gate.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods to sites and back, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Inspect trucks and report defects or issues to supervisor.
• Maintain schedule and professional customer interactions.
• Document delivery records and monitor inventory levels.
• Follow safety instructions to protect self and others.
• Support warehouse duties including loading/unloading tasks.
