Job summary

Roadway Moving Inc. in the United States is hiring CDL Class A and Class B truck drivers for local and long-haul routes. All routes run warehouse to warehouse with no touch freight and no residential deliveries, requiring a clean MVR and a current DOT medical card.

You will operate tractors/trucks, log trips, and coordinate with dispatch while adhering to FMCSA hours and safety procedures. Compensation includes substantial earning potential on long-haul routes and a $2,500 referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR and a safe driving record.
• Current DOT medical card and ability to meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor trailer or a Class B straight truck between Roadway warehouse and terminal locations.
• Haul no touch freight on assigned dedicated and regional lanes.
• Complete assigned routes safely and on schedule.
• Perform DOT pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete trip logs, ELD entries, bills of lading and required DOT documentation.
• Stay in contact with dispatch on route progress, delays and mechanical issues.
• Follow FMCSA hours of service rules, DOT regulations and Roadway safety procedures.
