Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a full-time Driver to transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and job sites using a tractor-trailer. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate deliveries, and exceptional customer service.

The candidate must hold a Class A CDL, have at least two years of tractor-trailer experience (including winter driving), and pass DOT drug and medical screens.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL required.
• 2 years of tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience including winter driving.
• Valid Medical Card.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and job sites using tractor-trailer.
• Load/unload materials by hand, forklift, or overhead crane.
• Verify deliveries with customer signatures and shipping lists.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and address deficiencies.
• Operate onboard recording system and comply with DOT regulations and laws.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times.
• Stand, lift, and move heavy products (60+ pounds) regularly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inventory counts.
