Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for a day shift. This full-time role involves delivering products to customer sites, loading and unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Training on a piggy-back trailer mounted forklift is available, with emphasis on safety, DOT compliance, and professional customer service. Expect physical work, occasional long drives, and varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform material handling: load/unload by hand, forklift, or crane.
• Reconcile material requirements with shipping list and obtain signatures.
• Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections of tractor/trailer.
• Operate onboard recording system and adhere to DOT and laws.
• Deliver products using piggy-back trailer forklift (training available).
• Provide courteous, prompt customer service at all times.
• Stand, lift, bend, and move heavy products (60+ pounds).
• Inspect and clean vehicle; ensure safe operation and appearance.
• Assist inventory management including cycle counts.
• Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
• Work safely and efficiently in all tasks.
