Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A driver to perform tractor-trailer or straight truck routes to deliver and pick up palletized freight. The role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus, Monday–Friday shifts, and overtime opportunities with overtime paid after 40 hours.

Hourly pay ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 based on experience, with typical 10–15 overtime hours weekly. Position requires DOT-compliant pre-trip inspections, documentation accuracy, and ability to lift up to 100

Qualifications

At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record that meets company standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct a pre-trip inspection before driving to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
Deliver palletized freight in a timely manner to customers and pick up freight from shippers.
Verify all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Collect payment for shipments as necessary and return bill of ladings to the office for billing purposes.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and company safety policies.
Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pick up as needed.
