Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver (LTL) to operate tractor-trailer or straight truck for delivery and pickup of palletized freight and large shipments. The role includes performing pre-trip inspections, completing paperwork, and maintaining safety standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with 7:30 AM start, 10–15 hours of overtime weekly, and overtime paid after 40 hours. Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for CDL-A drivers.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Must possess or obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Must possess good customer service and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure mechanical and safety readiness.
• Submit pre-trip forms and mileage/maintenance records.
• Deliver palletized freight promptly; pick up shipments from shippers.
• Verify load-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Collect payments when necessary and return bill of ladings to the office.
