Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver (LTL) to operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck for timely palletized freight delivery and pickup. The role requires pre-trip inspections, documentation accuracy, and proactive safety practices.

Hours are Monday–Friday with overtime; pay ranges from $23 to $27 per hour based on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health and dental insurance, PTO, 401(k), and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure mechanical and safety readiness.
• Turn in pre-trip forms and complete mileage and maintenance paperwork.
• Deliver palletized freight and pick up shipments from shippers.
• Verify load-related documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Collect payments for shipments when required and return Bill of Lading documents to the office.
• Maintain required DOT safety certifications and company policies.
• Wash the exterior of tractor and equipment daily.
• Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pickup as needed.
