Spee Dee Delivery Service is hiring a CDL Class A Driver (Transport) to move parcels between terminals. The role involves end-to-end driving, pre-trip inspections, and maintaining DOT certifications. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with a 7:30 PM start, 10–15 hours of overtime weekly, and pay ranging from $28.00 to $35.50 per hour based on experience. Full-time status with nonexempt pay rules apply.

Competenze

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission.
• Doubles/triples endorsement preferred or must obtain.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.

Mansioni

• Conduct a pre-trip inspection to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
• Turn in pre-trip form and complete mileage and maintenance forms.
• Drive between terminals to transport parcels.
• Maintain all required certifications per DOT and company safety policies.
• Wash the exterior of the tractor and equipment daily.
• Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pickup as needed.
