Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service is looking for a CDL Class A Driver to transport parcels between terminals. This full-time role involves driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck with an 8:30 PM start, Monday through Friday, and expected overtime. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Applicants must pass a DOT pre-employment screen, hold a valid CDL A license with a good driving record, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Benefits include health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass background checks.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission and obtain doubles/triples endorsement.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills; work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform a pre-trip inspection to ensure safety of vehicle and equipment.
• Submit mileage and maintenance forms as required.
• Transport parcels between terminals using tractor-trailer or straight truck.
• Maintain required certifications per DOT and company policies.
• Wash exterior of tractor and equipment daily and assist others as needed.
