Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking CDL Class A drivers to transport parcels between terminals. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Shifts are Monday–Friday with potential overtime and an hourly pay rate of $26.00–$33.50 based on experience.

Work involves pre-trip inspections, paperwork, and load handling in a full-time role. Benefits include health, dental, life insurance and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a good driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission and obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
• Must have good customer service and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a pre-trip inspection before driving to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
• Turn in pre-trip form and complete mileage and maintenance forms.
• Drive between terminals to transport parcels.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and company safety policies.
• Wash the exterior of tractor and equipment daily.
• Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pick up as needed.
