Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions seeks a CDL Driver for our private fleet in South Plainfield, NJ. You will operate company trucks on regional/local routes, maintain safety, and provide reliable customer service.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, at least 1 year on-the-road experience, a clean driving record, and ability to communicate in English. We offer a sign-on bonus, quarterly safety bonus, benefits, paid vacation and holidays, and home daily schedules.

As a CDL Driver with Mauser Packaging Solutions Private Fleet, you are the final link in our customer service chain. Here is what you can expect on a typical day as a CDL Driver on our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions:

• Safety is a top priority at Mauser. We will do everything we can to ensure you are safe in our facilities, in our trucks and everywhere in between.

• No micromanaging here! Most of the day you will be in your vehicle, driving, scheduling, routing and managing your daily activities, acting as your own boss.

• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• At least 23 years old
• Minimum 1-year on the road experience
• Willingness to move freight up to 55 pounds
• Valid Medical card with at least 90 days until expiration
• No More than 1 DOT recordable accident in last 3 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years
• No DUIs in last 5 years
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
• A Hazardous Materials Endorsement on CDL is preferred but not required.
• Maintains all required company paperwork.
• Follows all State & Federal regulations per Department of Transportation standards.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English
• Must be able to comply with all established rules and policies (safety, production, etc.).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work any shift and work time as needed.
• Must be able to maintain an acceptable attendance record.

The range is $25 - $31 per hour. Exact hourly rate offered will depend on candidate's experience, work location, skills, etc.
