Job summary

Synagro WWT, Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking a skilled heavy equipment operator and driver. You will operate front end loader, belt press, centrifuge, dredger, and other equipment, conduct daily inspections, load and deliver materials, and travel between sites including overnight trips as needed.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A preferred, high school diploma or GED, and a proven safe driving record. You will serve as a brand ambassador while ensuring safety and compliance in a field-heavy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of project work experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years commercial driving/heavy or agricultural equipment experience preferred.
• Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck/equipment safely at all times.
• Load/unload and deliver materials to assigned destinations.
• Travel between job sites and plants; overnight travel possible.
• Clean bio-solids off truck/equipment in the field or at landfills.
• Serve as brand ambassador and maintain professional interactions with clients and public.
• Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain shop area and assist with tools setup and cleanup.
• Maintain operation records.

JOB SUMMARY

• Performs various project work which requires safely operating vehicles and a variety of heavy/agricultural equipment that may include, but not limited to; front end loader, belt press, centrifuge, dredger, spreader box, excavator, terragator, and road tractor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1. Operate truck/equipment in a safe manner at all times
• 2. Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destination
• 3. Travel from job site to job site or plant to job site. May involve overnight travel
• 4. Clean bio-solids off truck/equipment before leaving the field site or landfill
• 5. Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public
• 6. Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the truck/equipment
• 7. Perform shop clean up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup
• 8. Maintain operation records

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• 1. Communication skills – verbal and written
