Job summary

Qualified candidates will have a Class A CDL, a valid license, MVR clearance, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. A minimum of 1 year driving experience is required, with 2 years preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license and a Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Ability to read and speak the English language; basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist with loading and securing products in the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites; maneuver into loading/unloading positions and assist customers.
• Maintain logs of deliveries, verify items against invoices for accuracy.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and address customer concerns as they arise.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles and operate hand-held devices for DVIR/HOS compliance.
• Conduct pre/post trip inspections and manage related paperwork as needed.
• Operate forklift or non-motorized handling equipment as required.
• Attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures.
