Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Combination Driver/Dockworker to load/unload freight, operate forklifts, and drive between service centers. You will contribute to safe, on-time deliveries and support warehouse operations.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT knowledge, and strong English communication; it offers a team-oriented culture and opportunities for growth within a national LTL carrier.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with double/triple trailers, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance.
• Ability to read, write, speak English and perform basic math for receipts, maps, logs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift, pallet jack or manually.
• Operate various tractor-trailer combinations between service centers and customer locations.
• Be available for work to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
