Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking dedicated, detail-oriented individuals to join the OD family as Combination Driver/Dockworker.

The role supports loading, unloading, and safe freight delivery between service centers and customer sites, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Candidates must hold a valid CDL Class A, have a clean driving record, and be prepared for flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A with endorsements (double/triple trailers, tanker, hazardous material endorsements).
• Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record and at least 12 months of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift or manually in safe, efficient manner.
• Operate tractors between service centers and customer locations while meeting DOT rules.
• Secure freight inside trailers and ensure accurate loading and shipping documentation.
• Be available for various shifts including third shift, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
