Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking dedicated Full-Time Dockworker/Combination Driver to support loading, unloading, and transporting freight across our service centers. You will operate forklifts, use pallet jacks, and ensure shipments are handled safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with required endorsements and experience in DOT regulations. Expect varied shifts, weekend work, and opportunities for career growth within our nationwide

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with double/triple trailers, tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• Must have 12 months tractor-trailer experience or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving and hours of service.
• Ability to operate hand-held computer and read shipping labels.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or manually.
• Transport freight between service centers and customer facilities.
• Meet safety standards and DOT guidelines in all duties.
• Read shipping labels and complete required forms.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope.
