R B Hinkle Construction Inc is seeking a skilled CDL Class A or B Driver to operate dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy vehicles for construction projects in Sterling, Virginia. The role involves transporting asphalt, aggregate, dirt, and equipment to multiple job sites, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will perform vehicle inspections, secure loads, and assist with general labor tasks when not actively driving.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy construction vehicles.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal DOT regulations including hours of service (HOS).
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing as required.

Responsibilities

R B Hinkle Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class A or B Driver to operate various heavy vehicles for construction projects in Sterling, Virginia. This role involves safely transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.

Job Responsibilities-

• Operate and maintain CDL Class A or B vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy equipment, as assigned.
• Safely transport materials such as asphalt, aggregate, dirt, and construction equipment to and from various job sites in the Sterling, Virginia area.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring all components are in good working order and reporting any defects or malfunctions.
• Load and unload materials and equipment, utilizing appropriate securement methods to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hours of service (HOS) rules.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, project managers, and other team members.
• Assist with other general labor duties on job sites as needed, when not actively driving.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle cab.

Job Qualifications-

• Valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Knowledge of local and state traffic laws and DOT regulations.
