Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Connersville, IN is seeking a Utility Worker/Welder (6932) to support gas distribution systems through installation, maintenance, and strict adherence to O&M and Safety Plans.

You will read engineering drawings and blueprints to plan layouts, lay out pipe routes with supervision, operate trucks and backhoes, perform leak investigations, and participate in mandated compliance audits. A CDL license and insurability are required.

Qualifications

• CDL license required and insurable under company policy.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Willingness to perform leak investigations and compliance audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gas plant per O&M, OQ and Safety Plans.
• Install or repair NG transmission or distribution systems and services per plans.
• Document tasks clearly and timely.
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, specs to plan layout.
• Layout pipe routes per instructions and coordinate with supervisors.
• Transport equipment and materials; CDL required.
• Operate mechanized equipment including trucks and backhoes.
• Perform leak call investigations with appropriate tools.
• Conduct mandatory compliance audits as assigned.
• Join pipe segments and fittings (plastic fusion).
