Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Connersville, IN is seeking a Utility Worker/Welder (6932) to support gas distribution systems through installation, maintenance, and strict adherence to O&M and Safety Plans.

You will read engineering drawings and blueprints to plan layouts, lay out pipe routes with supervision, operate trucks and backhoes, perform leak investigations, and participate in mandated compliance audits. A CDL license and insurability are required.

Responsibilities

• Layout pipe routes per instructions and coordinate with supervisors.
• Transport equipment and materials; CDL required.
• Operate mechanized equipment including trucks and backhoes.
• Perform leak call investigations with appropriate tools.
• Conduct mandatory compliance audits as assigned.
• Join pipe segments and fittings (plastic fusion).

Maintain the quality level of our system through timely maintenance and compliance activities. Improve the knowledge about our system with accurate, complete and timely documentation.OUTCOMES: (What must be accomplished)1. Maintain Gas Plant according to O&M, OQ and Safety Plans.2. Ensure documentation for all assigned tasks are complete, accurate, legible, and timely.4.
